I love this new Gain Botanical detergent. The white tea and lavender combo smells great. I washed my clothes without fabric softener just to get the full effect and my clothes came out clean, soft, wrinkle free, and smelling great. And the bonus about it is that it's a plant based product and gentle on skin. I tried it for my 15 month's old clothing and loved the smell and feel of his clothes afterward. No bad skin reactions either for him.
My criteria for a good detergent are that it smells good, doesn't irritate my skin, and obviously washes the clothes well. This met all of them. I usually don't buy Gain because their traditional scent is too strong for me, but the Gain Botanicals smells amazing. Its not to strong or a traditional detergent scent, its a very light, natural kind of smell. I also can't usually handle any harsh soaps because my skin is sensitive, but since this was free of dyes I gave it a shot. It didn't irritate me at all and I even washed some of my baby's clothes with it and she didn't have any issues either. It cleaned just as well as my regular detergent but I liked that it left the clothes smelling better.
Been looking for about a month and haven't been able to find "botanical" laundry detergent in Sullivan and Washington Mo (East Central Missouri). When will it available in my area? Looked in Walmart and many other stores and it is as if it does not exist. Can I get some help please?
